What you will do
- Manage the Group’s day‑to‑day global operational tax compliance obligations.
- Lead support for tax requirements arising from new product launches.
- Oversee US tax obligations related to US WHT as a QI and QDD, including annual filings, audits, and KYC data collection.
- Manage Group-wide AEOI reporting obligations (FATCA/CRS/CARF), from data capture advising to report preparation and filing.
- Advise on UK ISA and Other Interest returns and suitable controls.
- Monitor and advise on updates to the German withholding tax system and assist client teams with year-end statements.
- Lead tax advisory on ad-hoc projects and implementation of business initiatives, including setting up in new jurisdictions.
- Liaise with IT and Front Office teams to build systems/solutions for operational tax calculation.
- Review monthly/annual tax calculations, payments, and returns to Italian authorities (Financial Transaction Taxes, Capital Gains Tax, Wealth Tax).
- Ensure operational tax governance across business stakeholders and document controls.
Requirements
- ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent (8+ years’ experience in financial services tax).
- Strong analytical skills with a natural curiosity to question and dig deeper.
- Excellent communication style and a collaborative mindset for effective working relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data management skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptable and enjoys a dynamic, rapidly changing working environment.
