What you will do

• End-to-end ownership of backend systems, including design, development, and deployment.
• Maintain and improve high-load social services like Feed and Chat, serving millions of users.
• Collaborate with product, mobile, and backend teams to conceptualize and build new features.
• Design and build robust APIs with comprehensive testing.
• Develop new features and migrate existing ones to a microservices architecture.
• Improve the scalability and performance of existing services using .NET C#.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one of .NET (C#/F#), Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with serverless technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Practical experience with microservice architecture and high-load systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including unit testing and CI/CD.
• Location: Hybrid in Singapore or Remote for candidates in GMT+2 to GMT+9 time zones.
• Ability to adjust working hours to align with GMT+2 to GMT+9 if working remotely outside Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience with building social networks or SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience shipping production-ready solutions leveraging AI tools.
• Understanding of CQRS and Event Sourcing.
