What you will do
- Lead customer security engagements end-to-end (discovery, deep dives, calls, follow-ups).
- Own security questionnaires/RFIs for priority customers, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
- Translate security posture into customer-relevant narratives (data flows, IAM, encryption, logging, incident response, privacy).
- Partner closely with GRC and Security teams to align customer-facing responses and escalate non-standard requirements.
- Create scalable enablement resources (playbooks, FAQs, training) for Solutions Engineers and Sales.
- Represent regulated customer voice internally by identifying themes and proposing improvements to product readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing security role (pre-sales, solutions engineering, consulting, architecture, or GRC advisory) in B2B SaaS or cloud environments.
- Ability to credibly engage and influence CISOs, security architects, privacy teams, and procurement/risk stakeholders in real-time discussions.
- Working knowledge of common frameworks and requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Understanding of modern cloud/security fundamentals: IAM, network architecture, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, incident response, and secure SDLC.
- Strong structured writing skills to produce crisp, consistent answers under time pressure (questionnaires, RFIs, executive summaries).
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, own problems end-to-end, and create repeatable processes.
