What you will do

• Manage data as a strategic product, defining ownership, accessibility, usability, and standard definitions.
• Develop a robust data governance framework to ensure high-quality, well-documented data assets.
• Implement data contracts with product engineers to prevent downstream data feature breaks.
• Enable self-service product discovery by managing the data catalog and understanding data lineage.
• Monitor and audit data quality metrics, governance effectiveness, and maturity.
• Design and implement training programs to advance data governance best practices and a culture of data democratization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, data product management, and standards.
• Experience with data governance tools/platforms (e.g., Alation, Ataccama, Collibra) and data cataloging.
• Proven ability to implement schema registries and contracts (e.g., JSON Schema, Protobuf).
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams effectively.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.
