What you will do

• Ship critical infrastructure managing real-world logistics and financial data for large enterprises.
• Own the 'why' by understanding customer needs and pushing back on requirements to find better solutions.
• Achieve full-stack proficiency across system boundaries, from frontend UX to LLM agents and database/event infrastructures.
• Leverage AI tools to handle boilerplate, focusing on quality, architecture, and product taste.
• Raise velocity by optimizing dev hirify.globals, refactoring legacy patterns, and automating workflows.

Requirements

• Graduating with a BS or higher in STEM fields, available to start full-time in 2026.
• Working in person in the SF, Chicago, or NYC office 4 days a week.
• Proficiency with modern tech stack, able to deliver modern web apps quickly.
• Ability to unblock yourself and thrive in ambiguity, delivering high-quality products.
• AI Literate with strong intuition on how LLMs work, including their strengths and weaknesses.

Hiring process

• Week 1: Deep dive into tools and domain, shipping code to production on Day 1.
• Months 1-3: Deliver 3 entry-level projects, expected to operate as a fully independent engineer.
• Months 4-9: Rotate onto a different high-impact team (Platform, Core Product, Commercial, Special Projects).
• Month 9+: Demonstrate Mid-Level Engineer performance and be considered for immediate promotion.
