Software Engineer (Backend)

What you will do

• Take ownership of complex technical challenges and play a central role in decision-making within an autonomous agile team.
• Actively participate in pair programming and mentor other engineers to raise the technical bar.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions that optimize processes and cross-team integrations.
• Contribute to cross-team initiatives to define architectural guidelines, evaluate new technologies, and establish best practices.
• Analyze complex business requirements and work closely with the product team to translate them into production-ready code.

Requirements

• Strong experience in developing and maintaining web applications in Java with Spring Boot.
• Experience running services on AWS, Kubernetes, and used to event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka).
• Deep understanding of software engineering and best practices for building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills, particularly in Agile software development and a remote distributed team environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing, keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies.
