TL;DR

Director, Regulatory Compliance & MLRO (Fintech): Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in Singapore and supporting the business through effective compliance advisory and execution. Focus on managing regulatory engagements, conducting risk assessments, and leading a high-performing compliance team.

Location: On-site, must be based in Singapore with 3 in-office days per week

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain an effective Compliance and AML/CFT program in line with new and existing regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain key regulatory documentation.
  • Provide compliance and AML/CFT advisory support for new products, business models, and use cases.
  • Oversee Client Due Diligence (CDD) activities throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with regulators, including managing regulatory engagements and on-site inspections.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local compliance team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in compliance roles within regulated environments.
  • Strong expertise across Compliance and AML/CFT domains, including KYC/KYB, sanctions, and financial crime.
  • Solid understanding of the Payments and Fintech industry.
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in payments or fintech strongly preferred.
  • ACAMS and/or ICA certification preferred.
