Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York, United States

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 annually, plus equity

hirify.global builds an AI-native ERP system for finance teams and fractional CFO firms, supporting bookkeeping, revenue recognition, accounts payable and receivable, and entity consolidation.

What you will do

• Own product features end to end, from problem definition and design through deployment and monitoring.
• Build backend services in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, and PostgreSQL for multi-tenant accounting workflows.
• Develop data-heavy interfaces with Next.js, React, and Tailwind for ledgers, reconciliation, reporting, and related workflows.
• Integrate with banks, payment processors, ERPs, and CRMs while maintaining reliable integrations.
• Protect ledger integrity through safe migrations, idempotent jobs, closed-period controls, and performance optimization.
• Write tested code, review contributions, mentor junior engineers, and build features using Ember and AI coding tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query tuning, and migrations on large tables.
• Solid React, Next.js, and Tailwind experience, with depth in at least one side of the stack.
• Experience owning production systems, debugging incidents, fixing root causes, and supporting shipped software.
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into shippable work.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, accounting, payments, or ERP software, or knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with Celery or other asynchronous task systems, AWS, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience building with LLMs or agents.
• Early-stage startup experience.
