What you will do
- Ideate, script, and produce attention-grabbing promotional campaigns from brief to final delivery.
- Edit fast-paced trailers and promos (15s–2min), creating platform-native versions optimized for various platforms.
- Edit motion graphics, lower-thirds, product animations, and basic graphic design packages in After Effects.
- Make autonomous decisions regarding edit structure, shot selection, music, sound design, graphics, and overall storytelling.
- Collaborate directly with marketing, content, programming, and ops teams to hit aggressive air dates.
- Manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining pixel-perfect quality and brand consistency.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional video editing & producing experience (trailer/promo house, network, agency, or major digital brand strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to independently conceptualize, edit, and produce original creative work at a professional, broadcast/digital standard.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, typography, and VFX.
- Solid graphic design sense (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Exceptional storytelling instincts and the ability to write concise, punchy, high-energy promotional copy.
- Expert understanding of aspect ratios, safe zones, and specs across Prime Video, Fire TV, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and CTV.
Nice to have
- Experience cutting shoppable or direct-response content.
- Mastery of DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with Frame.io, or remote post-production workflows.
