Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) in Manchester or Ipswich, United Kingdom

What you will do

  • Lead implementation of specific capacity management and platform optimization plans.
  • Report on capacity management and utilization metrics, including escalations and health indicators.
  • Build value-based relationships with customers to optimize capacity management.
  • Execute customer, operational, project, and service activities within platform management teams.
  • Collaborate with Network Cloud tenants to improve capacity management, optimization, and resiliency processes.
  • Drive team engagement in problem management, diagnosis, risk mitigation, and RCA recommendations.

Requirements

  • Experience making decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information.
  • Ability to align project plans and objectives with BT strategy and values.
  • Readiness to move outside expected processes to suit customer or colleague needs.
  • Knowledge of telco cloud, running both Openstack and VMware.
  • Understanding of on-premise cloud infrastructure, including switches, servers, and storage, to optimize utilization.
  • Hybrid work (3 days in office) required in Manchester or Ipswich, United Kingdom.
