Packet Core IMS Expert (Telecommunications): Responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of Packet Core or IMS network elements, with an accent on high-quality deployment, integration, testing, migration, and software lifecycle management. Focus on troubleshooting issues, executing system and functional tests, and contributing to continuous improvement in telecom network environments.

Location: Hybrid work in Portugal (Évora, Fundão, VNG - Lake Towers, VNG - Cais de Gaia, Lisboa - Expo).

What you will do

• Deliver Packet Core / IMS technical solutions according to approved LLD.
• Perform onboarding, deployment, integration, and configuration of network nodes.
• Execute System and Functional ATP test cases with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues during deployment, integration, ATP, and migration activities.
• Manage trouble tickets using internal tools like JIRA and Salesforce.
• Prepare and execute software upgrade activities, including lab testing and production upgrades.
• Provide L2 support and knowledge transfer sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Packet Core or IMS Expert / Specialist in telecom network delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience in deployment, integration, testing, migration, and upgrade of Packet Core or IMS nodes.
• Strong understanding of LLD-driven delivery, MOP execution, and ATP processes.
• Experience working with care, operations, and customer teams in live network environments.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with internal delivery processes and ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce).
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in multicultural teams.
• Experience in at least one of the following domains: Packet Core (CMG, CMM, ePDG, NRD) or IMS (SBC).
