E2E RAN Optimization Engineer (Telecommunications): Improving overall network performance for customers by conducting planning and optimization activities for mobile networks (2G-5G) with an accent on E2E logs analysis, KPI monitoring, and parameter optimization. Focus on initial tuning, cluster optimization, and addressing network performance and capacity challenges for various technologies.
Location: Hybrid work in Évora, Fundão, VNG - Cais de Gaia, or Lisboa - Expo (Portugal)

What you will do
- Improve overall network performance through planning and optimization for mobile networks (2G-5G).
- Perform DriveTest Processing, Analysis & Report, including E2E logs analysis.
- Conduct Initial Tuning, Single Site, and Cluster optimization activities to achieve target KPIs.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on Network Performance Benchmarks.
- Identify parameter inconsistencies and correct database entries.
- Automate processes and manipulate data using BI and Data Science knowledge.
Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineer or similar.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in network planning and optimization.
- Strong background in communications theory, RF basics, and wireless technologies (NB-IoT, VoLTE, WCDMA, GSM, 5G NR).
- Hands-on experience with performance management, RF optimization, and capacity planning in LTE & 5G networks.
- Knowledge of RAN KPIs, optimization parameters, and their impact on network performance.
- English knowledge is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Multi-vendor knowledge (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia).
- Knowledge in Open-Ran protocols.
- Knowledge in BI, Data Processing, SQL, and Scripting (e.g., Python).
