Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania. During the first 3 months, full-time office work is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement new software modules and technical specifications.
• Enhance and optimize existing features for performance and scalability.
• Tune applications to meet real-time constraints.
• Develop and maintain unit and functional tests.
• Conduct refactoring sessions and code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with colleagues and automate deployment processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Java SE software developer.
• Strong experience with object-oriented software design, data structures, and multi-threaded environments.
• Proficiency with Junit/TestNG, JDBC, SQL/MySQL.
• English: Fluent required.
• Passion for software development, unit testing, and clean, maintainable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of performance tuning & optimization (profilers, garbage collection).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Gitlab, and Ansible.
