What you will do

• Own hirify.global's cloud infrastructure end-to-end, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Champion an observability culture by providing teams with necessary dashboards, alerting, and tooling.
• Establish security guardrails for AI tooling and lead ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials accreditations.
• Take full ownership of the security posture, identifying gaps and implementing pragmatic improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build platform tools that accelerate development speed.
• Evaluate and optimize IT and vendor setups, including potential managed service arrangements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK (for hybrid) or Europe (for remote).
• Solid experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering with AWS and/or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of running Kubernetes in production, including scaling, debugging, and upgrades.
• Expertise in building monitoring, alerting, and tracing systems that provide actual insights.
• Experience working in a startup or cloud-native environment.
• Strong judgment in balancing technical perfection with pragmatic business needs.

• Two technical interviews with the engineering team (2 hours total).
