What you will do

• Create stunning visual effects (e.g., smoke, fire, explosions, snow, waterfalls) that accent the immersive game world for the Rainbow Six brand.
• Combine technology and creativity to make and integrate impactful, high-quality, real-time visual effects.
• Collaborate with art, programming, and design teams to understand features where visual effects will enhance player experience.
• Offer guidance and support to other artists, contributing to their development.
• Support leads and relevant teams in establishing pipelines, processes, and workflows.

Requirements

• Current eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
• A photo-realistic portfolio/showreel of your best work, consisting of real-time VFX elements.
• Experience in modelling, texturing, and image processing.
• Proficient in Photoshop and 3D software such as Maya or 3DS Max.
• Ability to give, receive, and apply feedback constructively.
• Understanding of basic vector math and art fundamentals (e.g., lighting, composition, colour theory).

Nice to have

• Experience with proprietary/in-house engines.
