Product Manager (Fintech)

Product Manager (Fintech): Own the principal ways merchants spend and move money from Square Checking, leading a cross-functional team to design and build card management and money movement features with an accent on defining product strategy, prioritizing and delivering a roadmap, and understanding product performance and unit economics. Salary: $198,000–$297,000 USD (Zone A)

What you will do

• Define key objectives for your products, such as growth of MAUs, ticket size, and spend volume.
• Define product strategy, prioritize, and deliver a roadmap to ship features in card management, spend management, disputes, and internal tooling.
• Collaborate with the Square Credit Card team to build consistent card and spend management primitives.
• Deeply understand product performance, paying attention to the product funnel and cohorted usage behaviors, using data to self-serve answers.
• Understand and manage the unit economics and financial performance of your products.
• Work closely with risk, compliance, legal, card networks, partner banks, and hirify.global’s financial operations and platform teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Demonstrable curiosity, empathy, and an urge to gather customer feedback.
• Impeccable product intuition combined with high numeracy and a bias for data-driven action.
• A demonstrable track record building strategies and executing roadmaps to grow product adoption and usage.
• Standout cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with design and engineering, to build trust and generate buy-in.
• Ability to inspire people through clear written and verbal communication.
