TL;DR

Senior Manager Delivery Management: Leading the design and implementation of an automated program delivery approach for the Group Sustainable Business’ portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Focus on utilizing digital tools for real-time tracking, risk management, and providing data-driven progress updates to senior leadership.

Location: Hybrid, at least two days per week in Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol.

Salary: £76,194–£89,640

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of an automated programme delivery approach.
  • Utilise digital tools and platforms to create, iterate, and manage programme plans and executive reporting.
  • Provide regular, data-driven progress updates to the Group Director and senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify early warning indicators and align cross-team activities for cohesive program direction.
  • Build and nurture collaborative relationships with the leadership team.
  • Lead and empower direct reports through clear objectives, coaching, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in programme or delivery management, ideally within a complex, outcome-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including ability to navigate multiple project portfolios simultaneously.
  • Strong track record of designing and managing automated programme plans using digital tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Mural, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to inspire others by establishing rapport and embracing diverse viewpoints.
