What you will do

• Define and document architectural blueprints, data models, and system interfaces.
• Oversee the development lifecycle to ensure correct implementation of architectural decisions.
• Ensure compliance with design, security, performance, and scalability standards.
• Work with developers and DevOps engineers to optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment architecture.
• Conduct impact assessments and provide effort and risk estimates for proposed solutions.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a Solutions Architect for 3+ years.
• Hands-on experience with the OneShield insurance platform.
• Strong background in software architecture and enterprise system design, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Proven expertise in Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Agile methodologies.
• English: Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with API management platforms and frontend integration patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and DevOps best practices.
• Understanding of Agile practices such as TDD, BDD, Kanban, or XP.
