TL;DR

Partnerships Business Development Manager (Fintech): Managing and assisting the Dealer Channel with all aspects of revenue generation and product reselling, with an accent on contracts, quotas, territories, and recruitment. Focus on fostering positive relationships, monitoring and influencing revenue growth, and ensuring effective communication and compliance across all dealer operations.

Location: Remote within Canada, based in Edmonton, Alberta, or Vancouver, British Columbia.

What you will do

  • Recruit new Dealers, manage existing Dealer relationships, and ensure full understanding of Dealer manuals and contracts.
  • Increase and maximize total Dealer revenue across all products and divisions.
  • Monitor and influence revenue growth, assist Dealers in closing large opportunities, and manage Dealer pipelines.
  • Proactively communicate with Dealers about status changes, campaigns, training, trade shows, and industry trends.
  • Act as the primary contact for Dealer-related escalations and strategically coordinate visits with Dealer events.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure Dealers have access to all available collateral and identify marketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-5 years in POS Dealer management or channel management experience, or 5+ years in B2B sales or account/business relationship management.
  • Bilingual in French and English is required.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in business administration or marketing).
  • Experience with contracts, negotiations, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Suite, and social media.
  • Extremely organized with professional follow-up habits.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the hospitality, food service, or retail industry.
  • Experience in the payments industry or technology solution sales in a B2B context.
