TL;DR

Business Development Intern (Sales): Participating in lead generation and customer engagement strategies to identify business prospects and ensure client satisfaction with an accent on cold calling, feedback collection, and conflict mediation. Focus on collaborating with various departments to improve product offerings and sales strategies, while maintaining customer relationships.

Location: Hybrid (Barcelona, Spain), requiring 3 days per week in the office. Candidates should be already living in or willing to move to Barcelona soon.

What you will do

  • Participate in lead generation strategies like cold calling to identify business prospects.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to gather feedback, ensure satisfaction, and refine advertising pitches.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements in product offerings, sales education, and marketing strategies.
  • Mediate customer conflicts, provide solutions, and reestablish credibility to maintain business relationships.

Requirements

  • Degree-educated and currently enrolled as a student.
  • Eligibility for an internship agreement through a University is mandatory.
  • Minimum 6-month internship availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building capabilities.
  • High-energy, committed individual thriving in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on reaching targets.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

  • First experience handling customers on the phone (customer support, telemarketing / inside sales).
  • Fluency in one of: Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, or Dutch.
