TL;DR

Staff Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Designs, implements, and monitors cloud infrastructure security controls (AWS/GCP) with an accent on SIEM deployment, vulnerability remediation, and incident triage. Focus on automating detection, alert enrichment, and remediation while mentoring junior staff.

Location: You can work in one of our Central Europe offices (Bratislava, Brno, Prague) or from home in Central and Eastern Europe.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and monitor cloud (AWS/GCP) infrastructure security controls.
• Deploy, secure, configure, and operate SIEM and other security resources.
• Identify, triage, and remediate infrastructure and web vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident triage and external-researcher engagement.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Drive CVE lifecycle management and patching.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud security, network security, URL filtering, and common security frameworks.
• Proficiency in CVE lifecycle management, practical IaC, and scripting for automation.
• Strong cross-functional and external communication skills.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Ability to work from Central and Eastern Europe.

• AWS Certified Security.
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Splunk Certified Admin or Splunk Certified Enterprise Security Admin.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
