What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, including hiring and onboarding.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to deliver new product features.
• Own (design, develop in Go, and test) significant features for Kubernetes application backup and recovery.
• Work with and contribute to the cloud-native open-source community.
• Prepare technical documentation and specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions in a high-level programing language such as C++, Java, or C#, with a willingness to learn Go.
• Expertise in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, concurrent systems.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms).
• A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
• Must be located in Poland for remote work.

Nice to have

• Experience developing in Go.
• Experience developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms.
• Active contribution to OSS projects in the Kubernetes/Cloud-Native ecosystem.
• Participation in CNCF Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) or Kubernetes Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
