Location: Remote (US). Not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, CA, or surrounding areas. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings.

Salary: $188,240.00 - $235,300.00 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. based)

What you will do

• Lead and scale an engineering team focused on hirify.global’s core IAM platform capabilities.
• Design, build, and operate always-on, distributed authentication and authorization services.
• Balance people leadership, technical strategy, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, customer-centric solutions.
• Champion team growth and advocate for agile processes, continuous integration, and test automation.
• Distill complex situations into actionable plans and own services end-to-end.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of total software engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of proven track record of leading and managing software teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Technical experience with REST APIs, Java/GoLang, Aurora/DynamoDB, Docker/Kubernetes, modern CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Strong familiarity with agile processes, continuous integration, and a belief in automation over toil.

Nice to have

• Experience with Co-Pilot and Agentic Authentication and Authorization.
• IAM domain experience.
• Self-service and customer enablement platform experience.
