Salary: $189,800–$232,800 USD (typical starting range); $211,900–$274,500 USD in select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco Bay Area CA, and New York City Metro Area).

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of SREs, fostering a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering teams and Platform SRE leadership to define observability requirements, build roadmaps, and translate them into clear deliverables.
• Own SLA monitoring infrastructure for hirify.global Cloud and drive adoption of hirify.global's own observability stack across the organization.
• Facilitate technical discussions, navigate trade-offs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality observability solutions.
• Champion reliability improvements, incident management processes, and blameless postmortems to keep platforms production-ready.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience leading technical teams, with a focus on mentoring and talent development.
• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, with deep understanding of observability principles (metrics, logs, traces, APM).
• Experience defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for high-scale, multi-tenant global platforms.
• Background in operating and scaling distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with hirify.global Observability, hirify.globalsearch, Kibana, Beats, and/or APM.
• Background in building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
