TL;DR

Business Development Representative (AI): Driving new opportunities and sales pipeline by engaging high-potential users for real-time conversational AI applications with an accent on identifying emerging usage signals and converting them into qualified opportunities. Focus on personalized outreach to technical personas, leveraging product insights and automation to support adoption, consumption, and revenue.

Location: Hybrid role based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area, USA.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + commission + bonus + equity + benefits (Annual).

What you will do

  • Drive new opportunities by engaging users showing strong usage signals.
  • Run targeted, personalized outreach sequences for AI builders and technical leads.
  • Work with Product and Go-To-Market teams to surface Product Qualified Leads (PQLs).
  • Help develop strategies for Go-To-Market automations using various tools.
  • Use creative engagement tactics including AI-assisted personalization and interactive demos.
  • Share direct feedback with Product and Marketing on user patterns and inbound quality.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years in a BDR or SDR role at a technical startup (ideally in AI, ML, developer tools, or infrastructure).
  • Proven success with all prospecting channels including email, LinkedIn, and cold calls.
  • Strong understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) driven businesses.
  • Comfort speaking with technical personas (founders, engineers, product teams).
  • Curious and helpful mindset focused on guiding users towards product value.
  • Passionate about AI, automation, and modern Go-To-Market workflows.
