Solution Architect (Healthcare)

TL;DR

Solution Architect (.NET/Angular): Defining and evolving the architecture for an established EHR/EMR platform with an accent on modernizing a monolithic .NET and Angular application to a modular, scalable, and resilient architecture. Focus on migrating to PostgreSQL, designing a real-time synchronization engine, and building a dynamic Form Engine capable of supporting hundreds of clinical workflows.

Location: Remote from Argentina or Colombia, or onsite in Monterrey (Mexico), Montevideo (Uruguay), or Rosario (Argentina).

What you will do

• Own and evolve the target architecture, including C4 models, technical standards, and non-functional requirements.
• Actively contribute code for critical components, migrations, and Proof-of-Concepts when needed to meet delivery milestones.
• Design and support SQL Server to PostgreSQL database migration strategies, including low/zero-downtime approaches.
• Design and implement a real-time synchronization engine between on-prem sites and AWS.
• Define and implement the technical approach for a dynamic Form Engine.
• Support Product Management with estimations, trade-off analysis, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) and Entity Framework.
• Experience working with Angular, including legacy versions (v4) and frontend modernization.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational data migration strategies.
• Proven ability to modernize monolithic architectures into modular or distributed designs.
• Experience designing or implementing synchronization or event-driven systems.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
• Willingness and ability to code when delivery timelines require it.
• Good spoken English.

Nice to have

• Exposure to dynamic or metadata-driven form engines.
• Familiarity with healthcare standards or compliance (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA).
• Experience with AWS, Azure DevOps, or PDF generation libraries (e.g., Xfinium).
