What you will do

• Lead a core revenue infrastructure team within the broader monetisation platform.
• Guide your team through complex technical challenges in scalable backend architecture, billing systems, and service decomposition.
• Own the team’s technical roadmap, project delivery, and development practices.
• Coach and grow backend engineers, fostering a culture of pragmatic technical excellence.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and other specialties to deliver high-impact monetisation initiatives.
• Contribute to the codebase and architectural decision-making while scaling leadership.

Requirements

• Backend expertise at the intersection of product, growth, and platform, ideally with experience in financial systems.
• Experience leading backend engineering teams, balancing people leadership with technical delivery.
• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Comfortable with object-oriented programming languages like Java.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and turn complex problems into scalable systems.
