Senior ReactJS / React Native Developer (Fintech): Design and develop web and mobile applications for custom software product development with an accent on integrating APIs and services, and contributing to architecture discussions. Location: Hybrid remote with office presence required in Lugano, Switzerland. Must be a Swiss citizen, Swiss resident, or Schengen EU citizen (cross-border eligible)

Salary: CHF75,000 - CHF90,000 gross annually

What you will do

• Design and develop web and mobile applications using ReactJS and React Native.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, with attention to performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape technical decisions.
• Support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate directly with clients and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with ReactJS and/or React Native
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and solid understanding of modern frontend development practices
• Familiarity with state management, REST/GraphQL APIs, testing frameworks
• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitLab or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
• A good eye for UI/UX details and the ability to collaborate with designers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Fluency in both Italian and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with backend technologies (Java, Kotlin, Node.js, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Contributions to OSS or a strong personal project portfolio
