TL;DR
Systems Engineer (Zero Trust): Designing, managing, and optimizing complex enterprise systems across the intelligence community in support of the US Air Force, with an accent on ICAM, Zero Trust principles, and identity lifecycle management. Focus on implementing continuous authentication, risk-based access controls, and integrating identity services with applications and APIs.
Location: This position will be a full-time on-site position in Hampton, VA.
Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 Annually

What you will do
- Design and implement Zero Trust architectures across enterprise environments.
- Develop identity-centric, least-privilege access models.
- Create technical designs, diagrams, and system integration plans for authentication, authorization, and network segmentation.
- Engineer and maintain solutions for multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and federated identity services.
- Integrate systems with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and behavior analytics tools to provide continuous monitoring.
- Implement robust logging, auditing, and telemetry pipelines to support decision engines.
Requirements
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI
- DoD 8140 Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc)
- 10+ years of experience or commensurate experience
- Experience with requirements engineering (writing, analyzing, validating).
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
- Must have experience with ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management).
Nice to have
- Experience with the Air Force Intelligence Community.
- Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks.
- Experience with Zero Trust Fundamentals.
