TL;DR

Systems Engineer: Building and maintaining infrastructure for enterprise modernization with an accent on availability, performance, and security. Focus on collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, and planning life cycle management for IT systems.

Location: Fully onsite in Hampton, VA on Joint Base Langley-Eustis

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Collaborate with customer, vendors, management and internal IT team through the modernization of the enterprise systems.
  • Develop control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards.
  • Engage in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational.
  • Train team on data security, troubleshooting processes and related skills.
  • Create, install and support enterprise systems.
  • Plan life cycle management for IT systems.

Requirements

  • High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience).
  • Clearance: TS/SCI
  • DOD 8140 IAT II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND).
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting in computing environments.
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, Docker).
  • Experience with automation software.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, systems engineering or related field experience.
  • Experience with DOD Networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS).
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g.Powershell).
