What you will do

• Define the end-to-end architecture for Developer Experience platform capabilities (SDKs, templates, portal, DevSecOps workflows).
• Establish “golden paths” for service delivery, including scaffolding standards and repo/bootstrap patterns.
• Own technical standards for GitOps patterns, environment promotion, and versioned platform assets.
• Drive cross-cutting non-functional requirements such as security-by-default, observability-by-default, and testability-by-default.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across backend/framework, DevOps, security, and QA engineers.
• Partner with stakeholders to build and execute a roadmap that reduces developer toil and improves delivery velocity.

Requirements

• Strong background in Platform Engineering and DevEx, with an internal platform product mindset.
• Experience with Internal Developer Portals, service catalog concepts, and scaffolding/template workflows.
• Expertise in Cloud-Native Architecture, Kubernetes operating model, and Helm-based delivery patterns.
• Proficiency in IaC and standardization using Terraform module strategy and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps operating models, pipeline governance, and release/version strategies.
• Knowledge of Observability Strategy, metrics/logs/traces standards, and OpenTelemetry concepts.

Nice to have

• AWS/Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Kubernetes CKA/CKAD certification.
