TL;DR

Infrastructure Architect: Leading the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise compute and storage infrastructure solutions with an accent on VMware vSphere 8 environments, Cisco UCS platforms, and enterprise storage integration. Focus on designing, deploying, and operationalizing vSphere 8 clusters and leading Cisco UCS implementations.

Location: Lutz, FL (Hybrid). Working Conditions: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote. Occasional travel within Tampa Electric Territory.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver enterprise compute and storage solutions using VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS.
• Design, deploy, and operationalize vSphere 8 clusters, including HA, DRS, vMotion, and vLCM.
• Lead Cisco UCS implementations covering X-Series, C-Series, UCS Manager, and Intersight Managed Mode.
• Integrate compute platforms with Pure Storage and HPE Alletra MP using Fibre Channel SAN.
• Design and manage FC fabrics, zoning (Cisco MDS / Nexus), and LUN provisioning.
• Create architecture designs, server build sheets, and documentation for build teams and support lifecycle initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep expertise with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion).
• Extensive experience with Cisco UCS (blades, fabric interconnects, service profiles).
• Enterprise storage experience (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS).
• Strong infrastructure architecture and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating compute and storage for VMware environments.

Nice to have

• Automation experience (Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform).
• Cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle).
