What you will do

  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of tools, services, SDKs, and libraries for development teams.
  • Lead efforts to design and maintain robust infrastructure capable of handling significant scalability challenges.
  • Engage with other development teams to gather insights and integrate feedback into infrastructure designs.
  • Foster knowledge sharing through tech talks and comprehensive documentation.
  • Work closely with Architects and DevOps to align infrastructure development with organizational strategies.
  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend background.
  • 3+ years of experience as a team leader, preferably in dynamic, fast-paced companies.
  • Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable web architecture.
  • Experience developing SaaS products hosted in a cloud platform like AWS or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
  • Experience with developing infrastructure components and CI/CD processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing a product from scratch.
  • Experience with JVM languages like Kotlin, Java, or Scala.
  • Working with various data infrastructure technologies.
  • Mentoring and leading internal guilds / Tech-forums.
