Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum

What you will do

• Develop and maintain critical healthcare applications and evolve product architecture.
• Analyse user needs to ensure high system quality, performance, and reliability.
• Innovate software design, implement product enhancements, and optimize system architecture.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring, coaching, and sharing knowledge with junior colleagues.
• Drive continuous process improvement for software development and release practices according to ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in C++, C, and Linux.
• Experience with real-time application and UI/UX development.
• Must be based in the UK to support hybrid office attendance in Manchester or London.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours to facilitate collaboration with teams in Australia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in line management, coaching, or mentoring.
• Experience developing software for regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
