TL;DR

Customer Marketing Manager (SaaS): Develops and executes multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value with an accent on data-driven lifecycle campaigns and customer advocacy programs. Focus on customer communications, webinar coordination, and partnering with sales, product management, and customer success teams for a consistent customer experience.

Location: Must be based in Fairfax, VA

What you will do

  • Develop and implement customer marketing plans aligned with business goals and the customer lifecycle.
  • Build new, data-driven lifecycle/drip campaigns for lead nurture, on-boarding, re-engagement, and upsell.
  • Manage customer engagement and advocacy through programs like referrals, testimonials, case studies, and customer advisory boards.
  • Develop customer-focused content and ensure sales and customer success teams have access to relevant materials.
  • Coordinate the promotion of regular webinars and in-person events.
  • Analyze customer data and campaign performance using CRM and marketing automation tools, and conduct customer satisfaction surveys.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in customer marketing or related roles, preferably in B2B or SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in campaigns driving customer engagement and advocacy.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise with marketing automation and CRM systems, including HubSpot.
  • Strong project management skills with careful attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a start up is a plus.
