TL;DR

HR Generalist: Supporting global People operations across the Americas region by managing employee records, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations with an accent on compliance, data accuracy, and stakeholder relationship management. Focus on advising managers on people policies, improving HR processes, and ensuring smooth HR administration in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid (New York, Dallas, or Los Angeles, US). Must be based in one of our U.S. offices and willing to report to the local office 2-days a week.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000

What you will do

  • Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and support payroll processes.
  • Provide coaching on HR policies, assist with ISO audits, and ensure compliance.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Build relationships with managers and key business stakeholders.
  • Assist with leave of absence, immigration, and visa-related matters.

Requirements

  • SHRM-CP or HRCI certification (or actively working toward certification).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in the HR field.
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. employment law.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and end-to-end business processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience handling employee relations casework.
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in one of our U.S. offices (New York, Dallas, or Los Angeles) and willing to report to the local office 2-days a week.

Nice to have

  • Experience working across multiple AMS countries (Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil).
  • Experience working with EOR (Deel).
  • Experience working towards SOX compliance.
