What you will do

• Install and configure Arista switches for media over IP applications.
• Troubleshoot IGMP Snooping, querying, and PIM configurations for multicast management.
• Implement and maintain PTP (Precision Time Protocol) to ensure audio and video synchronization.
• Configure and manage SMPTE 2110 multicast flows (Audio, Video, Metadata) using NMOS IS-04/05.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges within the IP infrastructure to maintain broadcast continuity.
• Collaborate with IT networking teams to align broadcast requirements with enterprise network standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in designing and deploying IP-based media solutions, including SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE ST 2022-6/7.
• Experience in project delivery within a broadcast environment.
• Deep understanding of IT networking principles, specifically Cisco and Arista CLI.
• Knowledge of NMOS (IS-04/IS-05) for device management and connection management.
• Technical familiarity with streaming platforms and protocols such as SRT, HLS, and NDI.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and implementing emerging broadcast technologies.
