TL;DR

Senior Software Developer 2 (AI): Developing software using engineering best practices to enable teams to be more productive and effective through code, decisions, and knowledge sharing with an accent on distributed systems, machine learning, and user interfaces. Focus on providing technical leadership and solving ambiguous multi-system problems across teams.

Location: Hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days per week in office.

Salary: $110,000—$155,000 CAD

• Work on distributed systems, machine learning, user interfaces, mobile, and cloud computing technologies.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring and leading by example.
• Solve ambiguous multi-system problems across teams/initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills for technical discussions and collaboration.
• Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (ie: C++, C# or Java).
• Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including: data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems.
• A body of work demonstrating a consistent ability to complete technically challenging work.
• Acumen with Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline.
