What you will do

• Turn business goals into technical solutions, from discovery to delivery.
• Design and evolve backend platforms for modern mobile applications.
• Safeguard architectural consistency, security, and performance throughout delivery.
• Coach teams to manage technical debt.
• Translate product ambition into a technical roadmap.
• Mentor a senior engineer toward a lead role and improve backend-to-frontend integration speed through BFF optimization.

Requirements

• Tech Lead or senior engineering experience in complex delivery environments.
• Strong backend architecture skills, including API and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design.
• Cloud-native experience, including serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code, plus a production mindset around reliability and observability.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear end-to-end technical designs.
• Full professional proficiency in English

• Scrum Master experience.
• Dutch language skills.
