What you will do

• Turn business goals into pragmatic technical solutions from early discovery through delivery and optimization.
• Design and evolve backend platforms for modern mobile applications, including API strategy, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns, and event-driven, serverless architectures on AWS or Azure.
• Safeguard architectural consistency, security, and performance throughout delivery.
• Ensure issues can be traced end-to-end through strong observability across mobile and backend systems.
• Coach teams to manage technical debt deliberately to support delivery speed without compromising stability.
• Translate product ambition into a clear technical roadmap for your primary project.

Requirements

• Tech Lead or senior engineering experience in complex delivery environments.
• Strong backend architecture skills, including API and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design.
• Cloud-native experience, including serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code, plus a production mindset around reliability and observability.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear end-to-end technical designs.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master experience is a plus.
• Dutch is a plus.
