What you will do

• Define and articulate the technical vision and platform strategy for multiple European markets.
• Provide deep architectural leadership for policy lifecycles, underwriting logic, and claims workflows.
• Embed AI as a core philosophy across customer experience and internal operations.
• Set a high bar for quality and speed, leading the engineering organization by example.
• Manage engineering managers and scale the organizational structure.
• Partner cross-functionally with Insurance, Operations, Commercial, and Data teams.

Requirements

• Senior engineering leadership experience in high-growth, regulated domains (fintech, insurance, healthtech).
• Proven track record of managing managers and leading organizations at scale.
• Deep expertise in designing complex platforms with regulatory constraints and multi-market variants.
• Strong philosophy and affinity for embedding AI into products and operations.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Amsterdam.
• Fluency in English is required.
