Business Analyst (Software)

Location: Must be based in the USA (Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH offices).

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 USD

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
• Write clear, testable user stories and own the quality and completeness of acceptance criteria.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, enforcing a clear Definition of Ready for sprint stories.
• Track requirement progress, proactively surfacing risks, blockers, or scope concerns.
• Lead and facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to review requirements and functionality.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting feedback and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Agile software development teams.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Proven ability to lead meetings and facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or coordinating UAT activities.
• Ability to analyze data and create clear, actionable reports.
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools (PowerBI, Jira), or data analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional or distributed teams.
