TL;DR

Service Desk Analyst: Providing overall technical operation and support for the internal IT environment, ensuring end-users can accomplish business tasks with an accent on actively resolving escalated help requests and maintaining IT infrastructure. Focus on administering network services, troubleshooting performance issues, and managing hardware/software assets.

Location: Hybrid position based in Canada, with an expectation of working from the Toronto office at least three days per week.

Salary: CAD $59,500 – $80,500 / year

What you will do

  • Create and manage end-user accounts and access control based on company policies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktop/laptop PCs, printers, voice, data, audio, and video equipment.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely product delivery and installation.
  • Administer LAN/WAN network services, security measures, antivirus, and spam control.
  • Analyze systems hardware and software problems, develop technical solutions, and implement upgrades.
  • Maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware, and manage licensing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting IT systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of IT operating systems (Windows and Linux) and experience installing hardware and software.
  • Solid infrastructure knowledge, including networking fundamentals and TCP/IP.
  • Experience working with Cloud Web services such as Office 365, G-Suite, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Okta, restricted user accounts, and software deployment technologies.
  • Ability to multitask and leverage problem-solving abilities in a 24/7 production environment.
