TL;DR

Director, Demand Generation (AI): Leading global demand creation, primarily focusing on driving pipeline and revenue growth in the U.S. direct business. Focus on designing integrated programs across digital, field, and account-based channels, optimizing paid media, and aligning marketing initiatives with sales targets for net new and expansion opportunities.

Location: Hybrid, reporting to San Diego or San Francisco office 3x per week

Salary: $165,000–$210,000 USD (Annual) + yearly bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Drive global demand generation strategy with primary accountability for U.S. pipeline growth.
  • Develop and execute ABM strategies tailored by company size, industry, and buyer persona.
  • Build full-funnel lifecycle nurture programs across email, digital, and personalized content.
  • Own and optimize the demand generation program mix, balancing always-on and targeted initiatives.
  • Lead paid media strategy (search, social, display) with focus on lead quality, conversion, and ROI.
  • Partner with Sales, SDR, and Regional teams to align demand generation with revenue targets.
  • Manage demand generation budget and provide clear reporting on funnel metrics and ROI.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing demand generation team.

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of B2B marketing experience, with 5+ years in demand generation leadership.
  • Proven success driving demand for a global company with direct ownership of U.S. pipeline creation.
  • Deep expertise across ABM, lifecycle nurture, and program orchestration (digital, field, partner-driven).
  • Hands-on experience leading paid digital channels (search, social, display).
  • Strong analytical skills to connect marketing activity to revenue outcomes.
  • Familiarity with modern MarTech stacks including HubSpot, Salesforce, Demandbase, Qualified, Clay, Outreach, UserGems, and Folloze.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field highly desired.
