Tech Lead Manager (Go)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus; office-based four days per week with one remote day of choice

What you will do

• Manage a team of approximately 10 developers, including planning, delivery, hiring, and career development.
• Architect medium- and large-sized product features.
• Collaborate with designers, testers, and product managers to define requirements and project goals.
• Analyze, design, and evaluate technical requirements with the team.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient backend code, mainly in Go.
• Review peer code and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and user guides.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing scalable and reliable backend services.
• Proficiency in Go, Ruby, Python, C++, Java, or Kotlin.
• In-depth knowledge of databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go microservices, Ruby monoliths, Node, Thrift, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
