Tech Lead Manager (Go)

Location: Hybrid role based in Nicosia, Cyprus, with four office days per week and one remote day of choice. Relocation support, including visa sponsorship and an allowance, is provided.

What you will do

• Manage a technical team of approximately 10 developers, including planning, delivery, career development, and hiring.
• Architect medium- and large-sized features for technical teams such as Passenger and Billing.
• Collaborate with designers, testers, and product managers to gather requirements and define project goals.
• Analyze, design, and evaluate technical requirements with the team.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, mainly in Go.
• Review peer code and maintain software design documentation and user guides.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing scalable and reliable backend services.
• Proficiency in Go, Ruby, Python, C++, Java, or Kotlin.
• In-depth knowledge of databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
• Experience with Go microservices, Ruby, Node, Thrift, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Jenkins is relevant to the current stack.
