What you will do

• Break up the Django monolith into independent, scalable microservices across multiple data centers.
• Develop and integrate new features in a high-load environment with millions of simultaneous users.
• Design service architectures, select data processing, messaging, and streaming solutions.
• Implement containerized infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes for fault-tolerant systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure experts on network protocols, traffic routing, and load balancing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong Python skills (2+ years hands-on)
• Good grasp of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with Django and DRF
• Ability to design solutions and choose the right tools
• Broad knowledge of modern backend web technologies
• Basic understanding of databases, messaging systems, and data streaming
• Experience with containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)

Nice to have

• Experience building high-load, fault-tolerant services
• Knowledge of Unix systems, OS internals, and networking
• Familiarity with frontend tech (JS, TS, React)
• Experience with Go
• Experience monitoring high-load production systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
