AVP Software Engineering

Location: Hybrid in Irving, TX, United States. Requires being in the office 3 days a week.

What you will do

• Partner with architects, product owners, and software engineers to drive the implementation of new applications.
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across the full stack, with a focus on middleware platforms.
• Lead and develop people leaders within the organization.
• Build strong partnerships with business and product partners to deliver new capabilities and products.
• Foster a culture of continuous delivery and improvement with an emphasis on full lifecycle ownership.
• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Greater than 10 years in software development field required.
• 5-7 years leading projects or initiatives through influence required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience required.
• Experienced with several programming paradigms.
• Experience with release systems and CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Github tools, etc.
