Location: Hybrid (Boston, US). Applicants are expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week. This position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Salary: $140,000–$150,000

What you will do

• Manage a team of 10-12 software and data engineers working on the Lens Gas & LNG Product suite.
• Establish a team culture focused on continual improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
• Oversee the scoping, planning, and delivery of development work using Agile SCRUM methodology.
• Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the global Commodities Engineering Leadership Team.
• Lead and support individual and collective team capability evolution through mentoring and recruitment.
• Champion best practices in software development, including automated QA, AI-driven processes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong technical understanding of full stack software development on modern cloud architectures (preferably AWS).
• Outstanding communication, people management, and organizational skills.
• Background managing teams in an Agile SCRUM environment and partnering with Product Management.
• Genuine interest or experience adopting AI technologies within software engineering.
