Technical Product Manager (ERP)

Technical Product Manager (ERP): Owns the technical product direction of hirify.global’s Finance ERP, powering mission-driven organizations across the Non-Profit and Education sectors with an accent on defining the technical vision and designing scalable financial solutions. Focus on modernizing and scaling financial systems through cloud technologies, automation, and analytics to improve transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What you will do

• Own product and technical design for core hirify.global Finance capabilities, including General Ledger, AP, AR, budgeting, fund accounting, reporting, and integrations.
• Translate finance business needs into clear technical and functional requirements by partnering with customers, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions, including workflows, integrations, data models, and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, implementation, and customer success to ensure solutions are feasible, maintainable, and aligned with product vision.
• Produce detailed functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and decision records.
• Evaluate trade-offs and ensure accounting correctness, performance, auditability, and compliance considerations are addressed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in the software industry (technical consultant, architect, developer, or solution designer).
• 2+ years as a Technical Product Manager or similar role.
• Proven experience working on ERP Finance products or large-scale financial systems.
• Strong understanding of ERP Finance concepts and experience designing scalable, secure backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).

Nice to have

• Experience in the K12 education or Non-Profit sector.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems or financial management software.
