What you will do

• Own and evolve AWS OpenSearch infrastructure, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Design innovative search features, including semantic search and AI-powered recommendations.
• Architect scalable backend solutions using Java/SpringBoot, collaborating with product managers and data scientists.
• Drive technical innovation in search and AI, implementing cutting-edge capabilities.
• Mentor and elevate the team's technical capabilities through code reviews and discussions.
• Monitor and improve search system reliability and performance using data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in software development and 2 years with AWS ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with modern best practices.
• Experience creating and managing AWS resources and Infrastructure as code.
• Business focus with the ability to challenge product managers and UX designers.
• A deep passion for machine learning and search systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in React & Typescript.
