DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Join a distributed team to improve application operations using Kubernetes.
• Work with CI/CD environments to enhance deployment processes.
• Debug and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Create consistent local and remote development environments.
• Document and share work to facilitate problem-solving and contributions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience deploying, maintaining, and tuning Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
• Experience building, maintaining, and fixing CI/CD systems.
• Demonstrable knowledge of highly available applications/systems.
• Ability to write and use Helm charts.
• Experience working with public and private cloud platforms.
• Comfortable coding and switching between different languages.
• Skills in building monitoring and tooling solutions.
• Experience working with globally distributed infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Securing container images, deployments, and pipelines.
• Familiarity working with Python, Go, Node, or PHP.
• Experience with K8s architecture and addressing scaling challenges.
• Experience with GitLab CI.
