TL;DR

Procurement Contract Manager: Leading the end-to-end contract lifecycle for the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring vendor engagements align with company standards and business objectives. Focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements including SaaS, Data Center, AI, and Hardware contracts, while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.

Location: Remote (US) for candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of San Ramon, CA. For those within 50 miles, the role is hybrid, requiring 3 days/week (M, W, TH) in the San Ramon office.

Salary: $65,100 – $181,400 USD

What you will do

  • Lead the drafting, review, redlining, and negotiation of various commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and DPAs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and develop procurement strategies.
  • Own and drive commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Infosec to ensure agreements meet operational, financial, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contract activity and support supplier onboarding and relationship management.
  • Contribute to departmental goals by identifying sourcing opportunities and driving measurable cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management within a medium to large organization.
  • Strong proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing risk.
  • Demonstrated success leading commercial negotiations with suppliers.
  • Experience supporting SaaS and/or technology procurement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently in a remote setting.
